Stillwater is Nothing Big Bunny is Everything is an Imperial Milk Stout from Stillwater Artisanal Ales in collaboration with Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co.

The last Stillwater beer I reviewed was a saison: Extra Dry Chu-Hi. Big Bunny is quite different, but also quite good.

This is an imperial milk stout, signifying that it’s been brewed with lactose. Lactose sugar does not ferment when consumed by brewing yeast, so you can expect a fairly sweet and creamy beer. Big Bunny delivers on the sweet and creamy! There’s a definite richness to the dominant bittersweet dark chocolate flavor. It has all the flavor of a much heavier beer, but only at 8% ABV.

Big Bunny is one of the earliest craft beers I tried when I started my personal beer journey and I hadn’t had it in a couple years until now. The chocolatey taste impressed me early on, and that remains true now that I’m a seasoned beer enthusiast. I highly recommend this to the chocoholics out there!
